NAGA...Production Begin...

Salam Sinema,

Our 1st production meeting will be on the 6th of september.There is about 6th draft of script been written and yes indeed the more we write the more exciting the story goes.It was pleasure to work with my co-writers Mr Yasu Tanaka and Ms Sofea J Reyland on doing the piece.Their involvement was so superb and their commitment in throwing ideas was genius.

Naga will start principal photography tentatively middle of november.Lot of ground work such as location scout and casting been done since this piece been offer by our Executive Producer Ms Gayatri Su-Lin Pillai from Tayangan Unggul.How wonderful it was to work with them as a Director of this piece since 10 years doing all the major work as Director Of Photgraphy with them such as KL Menjerit,Gangster,Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang,Apokalips and the latest Penanggal.

In this moment my concetration is more on translation Naga into a piece of arts and science with an entertainment value.My experience as Director Photography in working with malaysian great director such as Badarudin hj azmi,Mamat Khaled,U-wei,and also involvement with foreign director direct or indirectly will be my base and platform for this my first debut .

Naga ... Proses ... illustrasi ... June 17 ...

Berjumpa dengan Ajoi seorang teman di curve akhirnya membuahkan perjumpaan aku dengan seorang ilustrator yang amat berbakat dan kira baik lah strokenya.Pencarian yang hampir lebih dari sebulan ini berakhir dengan satu persetujuan secara kreatif dengan Roshfaizal Arifin seorang creative director disebuah syarikat design dan visual effects yang sedang berkembang dengan teknologi CGI nya,...dan menyiapkan ilustrasi keseluruhan NAGA dalam tempoh sebulan dari sekarang..

Beberapa lokasi yang dikenalpasti sudah boleh aku terjemahkan dalam bentuk ilustrasi dengan bantuan budak Rosh ni..juga chracter design watak seorang demi seorang juga sedang didalam pembikinannya...sesungguhnya laluan untuk membikin NAGA ini semakin dipermudahkan laluannya.

I Eat KL ...Feel like Hollywood..

Yes i am... im still on shoot... TV series "I Eat Kl" a 30 days of production produce by Fried chillies that was well known in food entertainment.Directed by New York base director Miss Eunice and Co-Directed with local Director Mr Atombs...weird name i think.Starring 3 pretty lady chelcia NG , Dawn and Nadia Aqilah and also some big names in our movie scene Mr Brawn Palare...Seems this is like Sex and The City though but in asian version.As this was written we are 3 more days to wrap and our matinee shot will be at Balai Seni Lukis Negara.Fried Chillies is also in their plan to film movie base on food..Never thougt of that before sure will be interesting
As For me i need a really good rest after this shoot before again filming in early July...

Bersedia untuk MENGARAH sebuah Naratif...Bersedia untuk MERAKAM sebuah NARATIF... Disebaliknya ramai yang sedang menunggu musnah...dari ramai yang menanti kejayaan... Yang Pasti Bersedia untuk ke layar perak...Skrin perak yang keramat...

Dilema yang tak akan berakhir...

Menterjemah skrip kepada bentuk visual,..sesuatu yang ang amat subjektif.Ada kala naskah mempunyai weight nya dan adakalanya naskah tersebut langsung tidak ada dominasi secara langsung terhadap visual...

Jadi mungkin harus akhirnya memilih jalan yang paling selamat terhadap visual serta kesan keatas penceritaan sesuatu naskah maka,...Pengulangan konsep kerap berlaku(recycle) terhadap nakah-naskah yang high profile kerana mungkin vocab-vocab baru sudah kering dari aspek pemikiran kreatif.Ini akan berlarutan terus dan akhir nya rakam sahaja...Dilema yang tak akan berakhir...
